Options, options for you to choose what suits you best from some of the following:

  • Sample award winning Pinots, Rieslings, Chardonnays, and learn why Tasmania terroir and low latitudes make for a world-class combination with leading industry producers
  • Learn about amphora fermentation – the latest in premium wine-making (those Romans were really onto a good thing) then...
  • Option 1: Learn about mini-hydro plants no bigger than the size of a car powering 30 houses from a little creek..beautiful private location, or visit 150 year old trout hatchery to learn origins of all fishing in Australasia
  • Option 1 cont'd: Lunch with the owners at an exceptional 1800's heritage rural homestead set amidst rivers with mountain back-drop, then roam the property viewing deer, old rabbitter's hut, or perhaps a spot of fishing? OR tour and lunch at another 1860's property with colonial stables and gin distillery,
  • Option 1 cont'd: In season visit beautiful farms - privately owned, to pick cherries. raspberries, walk amongst poppy and seed fields (normally not possible) OR
  • Option 2: Visit a Georgian riverside town, visits to private properties excelling in seasonal produce, learn about Tasmania’s convict past from visit to deeply affecting colonial gaol

$1025 per person (2 people) - $725 per person (4 people), less for larger groups
